Marin Dragons is still looking for a few more paddlers. The only qualifications are: " Have fun, showing up to practices, and being a team player – that’s what dragon boating is all about." No experience needed. Must be 14 or older.

The 23rd Annual Northern California International Dragon Boat Festival returns on Saturday & Sunday, September 15 & 16 from 10 am- 5 pm each day at Oakland’s beautiful Lake Merritt, the 3rd year at its new location. Presented by the California Dragon Boat Association, audiences will be treated to the spectacular fleet of colorful 40-foot dragon boats as they race to the beat of Chinese drums.
