Celebrating the Year of the Dog —everything from jai and prawns to suckling pig and red bean soup. Great performances including the NBA’s Legendary Acrobatic Halftime Act - the Red Panda, a martial arts demonstration, traditional guzheng, and, of course, our amazing Lion Dancers. Bring the whole family to share the excitement and tradition of the Lunar New Year. #MCCACNY

Scholarship Awards program 2018

The Marin Chinese Cultural Association board is proud to announce our annual MCCA Scholarship Awards program. We now offer two separate, $1,000.00 scholarships to our members.  Awards will be presented at our annual MCCA Chinese New Year Banquet on Saturday, February 24th, 2018.

Eligibility:  Scholarships are offered to MCCA members only. Priority will be given to entering college freshmen, but—based on each year's applicant pool—awards may be granted to high-school seniors or college upperclassmen as determined by the selection committee. 

Application Deadline:
Applications must be received by Friday, February, 2018. Applications may be emailed to for receipt by the due date.

FREE Mahjong Class - Beginners through advanced players are welcome!

Marin Chinese Cultural Association just started a new mahong class at College of Marin's Indian Valley Campus. Art and Claudia Wong brought in teaching materials and started us on a few hours of fun, laughter, and learning. MCCA members and friends are invited to join!

These classes are FREE to MCCA members. Beginners through advanced players are welcome!
