Bay Area Discovery Museum Chinese New Year Festival

BADM Chinese New Year Festival

Monday, Feb. 20, 9am-4pm, at Fort Baker in Sausalito

This huge annual celebration is a partnership between the Discovery Museum and MCCA. Families from all over the Bay Area (as many as 3,500 attendees!) gather to welcome the lunar new year and learn about Chinese culture and traditions with lion dancers, storytellers, calligraphers, art projects, games, kung fu demonstrations, guzheng music, and beautiful traditional dance performances. FREE Mahjong Class - Beginners through advanced players are welcome!

Marin Chinese Cultural Association just started a new mahong class at College of Marin's Indian Valley Campus. Art and Claudia Wong brought in teaching materials and started us on a few hours of fun, laughter, and learning. MCCA members and friends are invited to join!

These classes are FREE to MCCA members. Beginners through advanced players are welcome!
